Operating the food bank five days a week costs around $600,000 annually, not including donated food. Since services are provided free of charge to clients, these funds must be entirely supported by donations each year.

The Allentown Food Bank also accepts gift cards that can be used for the purchase of food. Some grocers conduct drives in which financial donations are collected and provided to the Food Bank in the form of gift cards that can be used in their store to purchase food. Please call the food bank during business hours to arrange a donation.
