The Allentown Area Ecumenical Food Bank was founded in 1978 through a inter-denominational partnership of churches dedicated to serving all needy families regardless of race, creed, or faith. The food bank’s efforts are bolstered today by financial and volunteer support from 34 churches in and around Allentown, Pa.
