What We Provide
Clients coming to the Allentown Area Ecumenical Food Bank can expect to receive enough food to last for 3-5 days. The Allentown Food Bank is the only one in the Lehigh Valley area that is open five days a week. We offer many fresh and frozen items such as eggs, milk, cheese (when available), meat, frozen vegetables, and snacks. We provide fresh produce such as garlic, bell peppers, onions, potatoes, and seasonal fruits.
Clients select food based on their family size. All have the option to chose canned meats, beans, vegetables, soup, peanut butter and jelly, cereal, frozen vegetables and fruit (when available), frozen meat, pasta, rice, nuts, raisins, eggs, milk, spices, diapers, baby food, personal care items and additional items as available.
